Our co-op has become a community hub where we share produce, recipes, ideas and stories, solve problems and build a stronger, more resilient food system. Our beautiful new cookbook, ‘Love & Dishes’, embodies these values, and we are proud and excited to offer it to you.
The 50+ recipes have been sourced directly from our members and feature ingredients available in our shop. They are diverse, nourishing and delicious and celebrate all that is fresh, local and seasonal.
‘Love & Dishes’ is a wonderful way for us to come together and share our passion for fair food, to celebrate and appreciate that special little shop in the main street we call ‘the co-op’! So, choose a recipe, invite some friends over, or sit down with the family and share a meal made with love that not only sustains us but can help build a brighter future.

We are the Dungog Wholefood Co-operative and we are passionate about community owned fair food and the benefits it can have for Dungog and the planet. We love delicious, healthy food that is grown and produced as locally as possible. We also believe food should be fair on your wallet, fair for producers and fair on the environment.
We are located at 205 Dowling Street, Dungog.
The Co-op is operated by a group of its own members on a voluntary basis. This allows us to keep prices as low as possible. Most of our products are wholefoods and arrive at the co-op in bulk. This also helps to make them affordable as well as cutting down on plastic packaging.
Are you an individual or business who can contribute $500 or more annually to help the co-op grow? Become a equal owner of the co-op and get 10% off everything in store for you and your employees.
Do you want to be part of something special? By becoming a member of the Dungog Wholefood Co-operative, you will be part owner in our shire’s first and only co-operative grocery shop.
