Volunteering in the co-op shop is a great way to grow your knowledge around healthy and sustainable food, meet local producers and connect with our vibrant community.  A four hour shift will also provide you the benefit of a 20% discount on your shopping bills in store. Learning the ropes is easy; there is no requirement for you to learn the POS system or do anything too technical. You role will mainly involve helping customers, restocking shelves and fridges, receiving deliveries and keeping the shop looking good.

After you have registered and have heard back from our volunteer co-ordinator, you can complete an online induction and accompanying quiz.

After that, you can add yourself to the roster for your first shift and orientation. You will be buddied with one of our experienced supervisors so you can ease into the role.
